Website”).
The access, browsing and use of the Website imply the specific
and unreserved acceptance of all the provisions covered by
these Conditions of Use, having such acceptance the same
validity and efficacy as any other written and signed contract.
Its compliance and enforcement is to be required from anyone
accessing, browsing or using the Website. In this way, if the user
does not agree with the stated terms, he shall not access or use
the Website.

QUO HEALTH S.L is the owner of the present Website which
provides information that helps to improve the health of hundreds
of millions of people suffering chronic illnesses, either metabolic,
cardiovascular or neurodegenerative, among others.
Through the Website, you may access to wide variety of news
regarding the world of diabetes, value the content, exchange
opinions with other users and access to very useful tools and
applications (as our App GLUQUO) that may help to improve and
normalize the day-to-day of anyone suffering any of the
abovementioned illnesses.
It is important to point out that the information provided in the
Website and the blog or the one provided by users, shall not be
considered as diagnosis or treatment of his/her disease, and that,
in no case, the use of the Website could replace the necessary
consultation with his/her doctor.
Therefore, it is recommendable that the user consults with the
medical professional or centre that is doing the due control and
follow-up of his illness prior to taking any decision regarding its
medication and treatment.
Through our blog, users may be part of our small big community,
being able to access to news related to the diabetes
environment, being able to assess the content and exchange
opinions with other users.
In order to interact with other users and add comments in the
publications, the user will do so through his profile in the
corresponding social network, requiring, thereby, identification
and authentication of the user (login/password) in the
corresponding platform, which will be totally external to the
Website and out of GLU QUO’s control (for further information,
check paragraph 4.2 of this document).
The Website provides contact and registration forms, through
which users can request information and contact QUO HEALTH, as

Moreover, access to the informative content is completely open
and free, and does not require registration. Nevertheless, in order
to subscribe to our blog’s newsletter, the user must identify
him/herself and provide his/her e-mail address.
QUO HEALTH would not be liable for the veracity of the
subscription data provided by users. Thereby, each user will be
solely responsible for the eventual consequences, errors and
failures that may arise from the lack of data accuracy.
3. Intellectual property rights
QUO HEALTH is the owner of or has obtained the corresponding
license to exploit the intellectual property rights of the Website as
well as the intellectual property rights and other related rights
regarding the information, materials, content, selection and/ or
provision of the content of the Website.
Under no circumstances it shall be interpreted that the mere
access, browsing and use of the Website by the user implies a
waiver of its rights, a transmission, license or assignation, totally or
partially, of the rights that are held by QUO HEALTH. The user has
a right to use the contents and/ or services of the Website for

HEALTH, through any of the appropriate channels authorized for
that purpose, the user declares and guarantees that he/she has
a right to do it freely, that this information does not infringe any
third party intellectual or industrial right, as well as trade secret or
any other third party rights, and is not confidential or prejudicial
for third parties.
The user acknowledges and undertakes to respond for any
information or communication that provides acting in its own
name and to hold QUO HEALTH harmless with regard to any
information supplied without his/her knowledge, without
prejudice of the accuracy, legality, originality and ownership of
the same.
If the user had become aware of the existence of any content
that is unlawful, illegal, contrary to the current legislation or that
may infringe any intellectual property right, he/she shall
immediately notify QUO HEALTH through the following e-mail

to proceed to the adoption of the appropriate measures.
Similarly, if any user or third party consider that some of the
contents of the Website are violating their and/or third parties’
intellectual property rights, as well as any other rights, he/she
should submit a communication to info@quohealth.com with the
following information:
Identification data and contact details of the claimant or its
legal representative.
Any documentation which demonstrates his/her condition
of right holder.
A detailed account of the allegedly infringed rights
concerned, as well as its precise location in the Website.
The claimant express statement that declares that the use
of the contents has been committed without express
consent of the right holder allegedly infringed.

QUO HEALTH informs that these are directly managed by third
parties, having neither human nor technical resources to know in

Consequently, QUO HEALTH cannot be liable for any issue related

from the Website, specifically, as an example but not limited to,

and reliability of its products and services, its own links and/or any
of its content, in general terms.
In this sense, if the users have an actual knowledge that the

illegal or contrary to morality and/or public order, they shall
immediately notify QUO HEALTH so that they can proceed to
disabling the link. This action will be carried out without undue

networks

and pages in the Website, which QUO HEALTH maintains on
different platforms and social networks held and/or managed by
third parties (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc.). The inclusion of these
links on the Website has the sole purpose of providing users access

any relationship between QUO HEALTH and the holder,
manufacturer or distributor of the linked platform, nor the
acceptance and approval by QUO HEALTH of its content and/or
services, being its holder, manufacturer or distributor solely

In no case QUO HEALTH shares with Facebook, Twitter or any other
social network which may be added in the future, any type of
private information about its users, being its only purpose the one
established in these Conditions of Use and in the Privacy Policy

Accordingly, all the information that the user aims to provide to
these platforms will be under his/her own responsibility, not
participating QUO HEALTH in said process.
The activation and use of these applications may involve the
identification and authentication of the user (login/password) on
the corresponding platforms, totally external to the Website and
beyond QUO HEALTH’s control. When accessing these external
networks, the user enters in an environment which is not controlled
by QUO HEALTH, so this entity will not be liable for the security
settings of these environments.
Since QUO HEALTH has no control over the content hosted on
these channels, the user acknowledges and accepts that QUO
HEALTH is not liable, in any case, neither for the content or the
services which the user can access throughout those webpages,
nor for any products, services, advertising, or any other content

4.3. Links from third party websites to QUO HEALTH´s website
QUO HEALTH does not authorize the establishment of a link to the

obscene or unlawful materials or information, and in general,
information which is contrary to morality or public order, or
generally accepted social norms.
In any case, in their respective websites, Users may establish links
to the Website, provided they meet the following conditions: a)
the link may not reproduce the Website’s content, total or
partially, in any way; b) It is forbidden to create a browser or a
border environment on the sections of the Website, or in any other
way the Website shall be modified; c) false, inaccurate or
incorrect statements on the Website are forbidden and/or, in

established links to the Website. Therefore, QUO HEALTH will not be

link to the Website; in particular, as an example but not limited to,
its functioning, access, data, information, files, quality and
reliability of its products and services, its own links and/or, in
general, any of its contents.
5. Liabilities and guarantees
QUO HEALTH will provide the service with maximum efficiency,
according to the means and technologies currently available;
however, the user must be aware that QUO HEALTH cannot fully
guarantee the reliability of the Website services, as occasional
incidents can happen in the services provided to users.
QUO HEALTH undertakes to revise periodically the content and
the information available to the users of the Website, but cannot
fully guarantee the veracity and update at any moment.
As a consequence, QUO HEALTH does not guarantee and shall
not be responsible for: (i) the continuity of the contents on the
Website; (ii) the absence of damaging components on the
Website or the server that provides it; (iii) the invulnerability of the
Website or the inexpugnability of the security measures adopted;
(iv) the damages that any person who violates the conditions,
rules and instructions that QUO HEALTH causes to the Website to
themselves and to third persons, as well as through the violation
of the safety systems of the Website.
Nonetheless, QUO HEALTH declares it has taken all necessary
measures, within its possibilities and available in technology, to
guarantee the functioning of the Website and avoid the

users’ mobile devices.
QUO HEALTH shall not be responsible for the authenticity, integrity

QUO HEALTH shall not assume liability for any hypothetical
prejudices that may arise for the use of this information. In no case,
the mentioned contents, opinions, comments and/ or links shall
be considered as a recommendation, sponsorship, promotion or
advertising by QUO HEALTH.
QUO HEALTH shall not be liable for causes beyond its control,
including but limited to: force majeure, Internet Access problems,
technological problems beyond the diligent and reasonable
management of the owner of the Website, actions or omissions of
third parties, etc. In all mentioned cases, beyond the control and
due diligence of QUO HEALTH, there will be no compensation by
QUO HEALTH to the user for damages or prejudices, to the extent
permitted by current legislation.
6. Use of the Website
It is not allowed and, therefore, the User shall be solely liable for its
consequences, access or use of the Website for illegal or
unauthorized purposes, with or without profit. In particular, and
without being limited to, the following actions or behaviours are
prohibited:

trying to modify, illegally or in any other way, access,
participation or operation of those, or falsifying the result
thereof and/or using fraudulent methods of participation,
through any procedure, and/or through any practice that

Failure to comply with any of the foregoing obligations by the User
may entail the establishment by QUO HEALTH of the appropriate
measures permitted by the Law, which may lead to the
elimination or blocking of the offending user´s account, without
any possibility of compensation for the damages caused.
7. Suspension of the Website
QUO HEALTH reserves the right to block, modify, restrict, or
temporarily or permanently interrupt access, browsing, use,
housing and/or download of contents and/or services of the
Website, with or without prior notice, to users that infringe any of
the dispositions detailed in the present Conditions of Use and
without the possibility that the users to claim for any type of
compensation for this cause.

All user data which the user provides for the registration in the Blog
and the other tools of the Website will be kept in a file held by
QUO HEALTH, which is registered in the Spanish Agency for Data
Protection Agency (AEPD) and whose purpose is the

9. Modification
QUO HEALTH may modify the terms and conditions set forth
herein, fully or partially, by publishing any change in the same way
as these Conditions of Use are displayed or through any type of

The temporary validity of these Conditions of Use matches,
therefore, with the moment of its presentation, until they are fully
or partially modified, at which time the modified Conditions of Use
will become effective.
Regardless of the terms established in the particular conditions,
QUO HEALTH will be able to end, suspend or interrupt, in any
moment and without having to notify previously, the access to the
contents of the Website, without the possibility that the users
request any type of compensation. After said extinction, the
prohibitions on use of the contents previously exhibited in these
Conditions of Use shall remain in force.
The headings of the clauses are only informative, and will not
affect, qualify or extend the interpretation of these Conditions of
Use.
To the extent that any provision of the present Conditions of Use is
declared unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, totally
or partially, by any competent Court or administrative body, said
nullity or inapplicability shall not affect the other provisions of the
Conditions of Use.
Non-exercise or non-enforcement by QUO HEALTH of any right or
provision of the present Conditions of Use shall not constitute
waiver of the same in the absence of written recognition and
agreement by the same.
10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Current regulation will determine the binding law and the
jurisdiction that shall govern the relations between QUO HEALTH
and the users. Nevertheless, whenever the current regulations
foresee the possibility of both parties submitting to a specific
jurisdiction, QUO HEALTH and the users, expressly waiving any
other jurisdiction, submit the issue to Spanish legislation and to
Courts and Tribunals in Madrid.
